Utilizing south, east and west facing roof planes, Optimum Energy Group helped maximize the homeowner's rooftop solar electricity production to generate 14,016 kWh it’s first year! This impressive 10.89kW solar energy system produces over 100% of the family’s electrical use powering their home with renewable solar energy all day long!  The excess electricity produced by their solar system is fed back into the Xcel grid increasing the utilities renewable energy.
Project Specs The impactful environmental benefits from this Minnesota rooftop mounted solar array is equivalent to sequestering as much carbon as 7.92 forested acres per year, and include producing enough clean energy kW’s to offset the greenhouse gas emissions from burning 10,386 coal lbs. per year and eliminating 23,014 vehicle miles per year, a giant win for the environment! And on the dollars side, more than half of the total installed cost of this solar system was offset by solar incentives including the 26% Solar Federal Tax Credit which offset the system price by approximately $8500. and Xcel Energy Solar Rewards of over $9593. over 10 years. This lovely home increased in estimated value by approximately $10,019.
